Mills Promoted
The Children's Center is pleased to announce that Tanya Mills, Magic Moments preschool teacher and site-qualified director, is promoted to the position of Group Coordinator, Infant and Toddler Programs, effective April 13, 2020. She will be taking over for Nora Dubay, who will return to working in the infant rooms.
Tanya has been with The Children’s Center since 2001, where she started directly as a teacher in the Cuddlebugs toddler classroom, and remained there for 16 years. Her last assignment has been with Magic Moments, where in addition to teaching preschool, she has been responsible for collaborating with high school students, teachers, and administration in the Lakes Region Technology Center’s Careers in Education program. Tanya has been involved with the implementation of the Pyramid Model in her preschool classroom and has served on the iSocial Site Leadership Team as well.
Tanya has an associates of science degree from Granite State College and earned her NH Early Childhood Master Teacher Level 1 credential in 2018. The center is excited to have Tanya taking on this new role and responsibility given her deep practitioner experience, strong communication skills, and positive team approach. Please join us in congratulating Tanya on this well-deserved promotion.
Tanya and Nora Dubay will begin this transition immediately. However, when the district reopens this calendar year, Tanya will return to Magic Moments to finish out the school year at LRTC. A new Magic Moments teacher will be named for the 2020-2021 school year sometime this summer.
